- Every Friday at 5:00pm, using an independently verifiable random number generator under the supervision of the responsible person.
- Entry cut-off
- Entries received after midnight on Thursday roll into the following week’s draw.
- Winner notification
- Winners are emailed directly within a few days of the draw, and results are published on Our Winners in a privacy-safe format.
- Claims and unclaimed prizes
- Prizes are paid after age and identity checks. If we cannot reach a winner, the claim window is 90 days; unclaimed prizes are then treated as a donation to the charity, as set out in the terms.

Choose four numbers between 1 and 39 — or take a lucky dip and we will pick them for you — then decide how many entries you would like and whether to play once or every week. Each entry costs £1. The draw takes place every Friday.
Winning numbers are selected at random using an independently verifiable random number generator, under the supervision of the person responsible for the lottery. Results are published on our Winners page after every Friday draw.
At least 60p in every £1 funds Ospreys in the Community programmes, around 25p funds prizes and around 15p covers running costs. By law, at least 20% of society lottery proceeds must go to the cause — our allocation gives three times that.
Winners are contacted directly by email within a few days of the draw — you do not need to claim first. We also publish results on the Our Winners page in a privacy-safe format (first name and last initial only).
Most prizes are paid directly to winners after we have verified age and identity. If we cannot reach you, you have 90 days from the draw date to claim. Unclaimed prizes are treated as a donation to the charity after the claim window closes, as set out in the lottery terms.
Yes, at any time and without giving a reason. Email community@ospreysrugby.com or use the contact form, and your cancellation takes effect before the next draw provided we receive it by the entry cut-off. You will not be charged again after cancelling.
You must be 18 or over and resident in Great Britain. We verify age and identity before any prize is paid, and any entry found to have been made by someone under 18 is void — the stake is returned and no prize is paid.
Yes. The lottery is promoted by Ospreys in the Community, registered charity no. 1169850, and is registered as a small society lottery with the City and County of Swansea Council (registration no. SL0873). It is operated in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005.
Ask us at any time to suspend your entries or to self-exclude. Self-exclusion runs for a minimum agreed period during which we cancel your entries, refuse new ones and stop all lottery marketing to you. See our Responsible Gambling page for the full process and for national support services.
We use your details to run the draw, pay prizes and meet our legal obligations, as set out in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your data, and marketing is always a separate opt-in — buying an entry does not sign you up to anything.
No. Gift Aid can never be claimed on lottery entries, because buying a chance to win is not a gift. If you would like the charity to benefit from Gift Aid, make a donation through our Donate page instead — the charity can then claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no cost to you.
